Filming with Knitwear Designer Gudrun Johnston

Last week we had the pleasure of filming knitwear designer Gurdrun Johnston of the Shetland Trader. She wowed us with her beautiful designs, attention to detail, and fast and furious hands; what an incredible knitter!!!

Known for her contemporary interpretation of classic Shetland design, Gudrun creates lace patterns for modern life. From cardigans to shawls, her delicate lace designs are balanced with contemporary silhouettes. Gudrun is also know for her seamless construction techniques in knitting.
