We had a colorful, creative blast throwing an Etsy Craft Party in the Cbug studios last night. Courtney taught the crowd how to make artist trading cards or ATCs as they’re commonly called. ATCs are miniature works of art, created on standard-sized cards and exchanged among artists all over the world.
We set up two tables full of washi tape, neon paper, markers, glitter dots, and more. It was inspiring and thrilling to watch everyone’s small works of art come to life. Some attendees even came ready to trade with cards they had made at home before the event.
The best part of creating ATCs are trading them, so we had fun cruising around and seeing which cards people gathered for their collections.
Here’s Courtney showing off her impressive collection of artist trading cards from artists all over the world.
ATCs are a terrific project to do with friends, and a great way to get your creative juices going. You can check out Courtney’s Artist Trading Card class on Creativebug right here.
Janet was our first guest, she brought a beautiful stack of ATCs with her.
Thanks to everyone who came to our studio with your great moods and creativity. We hope to craft with all of you again soon!
