Anne Weil is a modern maker, blogger and author living in Baltimore, MD. Her knitting book Knitting Without Needles, filled with arm- and finger- knit accessories, home goods and whimsical items, will published in September 2015 by Potter Craft.
Making brings Anne more joy than just about anything else in the world. That delight inspired her to begin her blog Flax & Twine in 2010–any way to get more beauty-making bliss in her life. On an average day, you’ll find her designing, knitting, crafting, blogging and photographing in her cozy studio surrounded by things she loves. She adores sharing her knowledge with others, teaching in person at local yarn shops and at art retreats across the country or via a plethora of free tutorials and patterns available on her blog. Her design aesthetic is classic, clean and simple. Watch out though, her enthusiasm for making is contagious!
