Hi, I’m Katia Ferris, a SF-based doll designer and Creativebug instructor.
We don’t usually associate knitting with instant gratification. It’s more often seen as a slow, mindful practice—one meditative stitch after another, ideally accompanied by a cup of tea. But every now and then, it’s nice to have a project that comes together a bit more quickly, especially one that’s both cute and delightful. For those moments, I’ve got just the thing: a super-sweet, hand-knit puppy doll sweater.

This raglan-style sweater is worked from the top down and features short sleeves, making it especially beginner-friendly. All you need is a puppy doll—which you can find here if you haven’t already made one—as well as a few simple supplies and an evening or two of easy-peasy knitting. Before you know it, you’ll have a cozy, very well-dressed puppy. It doesn’t get much cuter than that.
Grab your needles, and let’s get started.
