How to make Achievement Badges
Try adding some strips of ribbon and sparkly things to these stylish badges. Or go for a classic scouting style by mounting the artwork on wood veneer and pair it with woodsy colored canvas. Pin your badges to a shirt, backpack, or even frame a display of them and you’re sure to be proud of your achievement.
Materials
- Art printout (print on 4” x 6” photo paper at 100%)
- Scissors (you may want decorative or pinking scissors)
- Tacky Glue
- Pin backs
- Felt
Step 1: Cut Out Artwork
Cut out the artwork. Glue a badge and a bar to the felt and cut around it leaving a small reveal.
Step 2: Cut Tags
Cut a ribbon tag. You can make yours as long as you like. This one is 1 ½” wide x 2 ½” tall. Decorate the tag by adding or cutting out shapes. Leave the ends free of decoration.
Step 3: Glue
Glue the badge and bar on top of the tag.
Glue this piece on top of another piece of felt and cut around it leaving a reveal.
Step 4: Attach Pin
Attach the pin to the back of the bar with glue.
Now go make some goals and win those badges!
