Staple guns + drinks + Amanda Brown = Best Night Ever.
We mean it.
Make an Upholstered Pincushion, Hang with Amanda
Austin’s Spruce Upholstery is heading West! Amanda Brown will be promoting her book, Spruce: A Step-by-Step Guide to Upholstery and Design, through a series of activities in both Portland and in the Bay Area. She will be hosting a pincushion making demo at Creativebug’s offices on April 16, and then signing books at Builder’s Booksource on April 17th.
If you’re in town, come to the Creativebug Headquarters for an upholstery party on Wednesday, April 16th and make your own button pincushion. (Psssst – it’s free)
You’ll get some much-needed upholstery skills under your belt (and please, use this to impress your friends in the future), enjoy drinks and snacks, and can get a book signed by Amanda herself. Seriously.
Because she’ll be there.
Best night ever, remember?

Not only do we want to hang out with you guys (remember: staple guns and free drinks), but telling people you spent Friday at an upholstering party is way more interesting than “at a bar” or “doing laundry.”
Want to come to the party? RSVP here.
If you can’t make the SF event, check out the rest of Amanda’s tour stops. They will definitely be worth it because, we know. We’ve worked with this woman before.
