We spent the morning making altered books in our studio with a group of employees from Airbnb. We cut magazines and contact paper in metallic and woodgrain finish and collaged them in various patterns into vintage books. These book sculptures were used in a collaborative way to decorate a group event later that day. We loved this project because a lot of prep can be done in advance and the actual making is all about play and takes very little time. These would be great on a mantle paired with a little votive for fun and festive decor!
