Our sweet friend and Creativebug artist, Christine Schmidt of Yellow Owl Workshop, just launched a product line with Portland’s Schoolhouse Electric. To celebrate the beautiful Victory Regalia Collection, a party was thrown at Heath Ceramics’ stunning new outpost in San Francisco.
The party was beautifully done, with cocktails by Portland’s New Deal Distillery (Gin + Lemon juice + beer = amazing. Who knew!?), and seeing the new Heath warehouse and showroom was a cherry on top.
I couldn’t get over how beautiful the new Heath location was, so Courtney Cerruti and I made a trip to their in-house Blue Bottle cafe the very next day. We spied Natalie Chanin’s collection of etched ceramics she developed exclusively for Heath, as well as her inspiring books and linens. Stacks and stacks of vibrantly colored bowls and plates and cups and linens…. It’s a Heath enthusiasts funhouse.
My personal Christmas wish list has grown pretty significantly in the wake of these two outings (hint). I suggest a trip to Heath’s showroom to make a list of your own. For my Portland and NYC folks? Head over to Schoolhouse Electric’s showroom to peep Christine’s beautiful Victory Regalia Collection!
Happy wish-listing!!
