Heading to the pumpkin patch and walking through fields of tangled vines, searching for that perfect pumpkin is one of my favorite Fall activities. Heading home with a trunk full pumpkins and gourds makes me ecstatic, but sometimes I’m stuck when I get home and have a dozen blank orange canvases staring back at me.  Carving up sophisticated designs and images on your pumpkins and gourds is easier than you might think, which is why I walk you through the process of finding artwork, transferring a design to your pumpkin and various ways of carving using printmaking tools in my Halloween Pumpkin Carving Class.
