Savile Row is the famed address for bespoke tailoring, where high-falutin’ gents from Winston Churchill to Jude Law to members of the Royal Family have had their suits measured, cut and sewn expertly and entirely by hand.
Touring Gieves & Hawkes was touring a vaunted tradition itself, especially when we were led down into the bowels of the store, where all the work and magic happens.
