Creativebug While recently in Denver, I made a pilgrimage to Fancy Tiger Crafts – where my crafting soul felt instantly at home among the bolts of beautiful fabric and luscious yarn.
Everywhere my eye landed, there was something to spark future projects: Neon thread! A knitted fox stole! Liberty of London! And of course, the hot pink crochet deer head that oversees the communal table.
Fancy Tiger’s offerings are gorgeously selected and presented, with not a dud in sight. My suitcase was already stuffed to the brink but I managed to cram a few yards of printed jersey inside, and pick up a project for my flight home: an inky-blue Sashiko embroidery kit with neon green thread.
Next time, I’ll bring a spare suitcase.
