Creativebug This one is close to my heart, folks.
We just released Melanie Falick’s trailer. She was my editor when I wrote Weekend Handmade. I have said this plenty of times before, but here it is again: when I wanted to write a book, I spent hours crouched in the aisles of bookstores, reading dozens if not hundreds of Acknowledgement sections to see if I could glean who would be the best editor for me. The admiration that Melanie’s authors heaped upon her was the reason I packaged up my book proposal and sent it only to her.
It was an honor to work with Melanie, and be the recipient of the love and attention she devotes to every page of her books. It is a personal triumph that she found our work at Creativebug up to snuff enough that she wanted to teach on our site.
We are thrilled to welcome her to the Creativebug family.
